How to play C,F,G chord

By knowing the C scale, you know that all possible keys to press are white key, let name all the white keys start from C

1)C 2)D 3)E 4)F 5)G 6)A 7)B 8) just back to C again!

By pressing 1,3,5 on your piano, you are actually pressing the C chord, and this is called triad chord. Press these 3 keys together and listen to the sound of the chord.



This is called 135 rule, by starting with the key that the chord you wish, C Chord would start with C key. F chord would start with F key. G chord would start with G Key

Apply 135 rule on F key to find the F chord, it is 3)F,5)G ,7)B (135 rule) you are pressing F chord.
How about G Chord? it would be 5)G,7)B,2)D. Interesting?

Start from the Key of C

Most of the people start playing music by the Key of C, no matter it is piano, guitar, organ or others. This is because it is most common and easiest to start on.


Lets come back to Piano, the C key is shown on image below, when you get a song with C key, this is normally the first key that you are going to start with.

What other possibility key notes that you are going press for C Key Song? They are all the white Key as below. amazing ?

Try to press those keys yourself with the Song of "Bla Bla black sheep", you will find that all the keys you pressing would limited to white keys only (please start with C key note). I would show the the keys pressed next...Enjoy :)

I can play piano now

Ha, Almost 1 year I did not come back to here for my piano blog, I think I wish to write something about my journey. This time I really promise that I will.

After 1 year, I really thanks God that I could learn piano and the most important is I learned it through earing method, I attended 3 months piano class with my wife, the piano teacher is nice but I really can't adapt the traditional way of teaching. Well I search through the internet, and I found Jermaine Griggs (Thanks Jermaine). By his way of piano teaching. I made it just within 3 months.

Finally I started my piano lesson

I'm 30 years old man. I know a little bit on piano playing by ear hearing but I do not know how to interpret what is mean on music sheet. So I went to a music shop and asked for piano learning. Finally I got one friend introduced me another friend that she may teach me piano lesson from beginning to end. I signed up with my wife and we both learned piano together. We started on 18 of January.......
